PATTERN: Up-Down Staghorn Cable Blanket

The Up/Down Staghorn Cable Blanket features staghorn cables, flat cables and ribbing, to make a very chunky, squishy blanket.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.

SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 8 balls of Alize Puffy yarn (3.53oz, 100g) (Image shown is the colour ‘87’). OPTIONAL: Buttons or beads for eyes.

SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:Approx. 44 x 47" (112 cm x 119 cm).

PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.

Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ can be substituted and the blanket will be the same size, but you will need fewer skeins of yarn. Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, and Red Heart Loop-It yarns can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a blanket with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more balls/skeins to complete the pattern as is.
