PATTERN: 3-D Squares Geometric Blanket

The 3-D Squares Geometric Blanket is a repeating pattern of 3-D geometric squares, using knit and criss-cross stitches. This a a great high-impact and dramatic pattern for the beginning loop-yarn finger knitter.

SKILL LEVEL: Easy.

SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 5 balls of Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ Yarn (6.4oz, 180g) (Image shown is the colour ‘Mauve’).

SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 45” by 49” (114 cm by 124.5 cm).

PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.

Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, Red Heart Loop-It, and Bernat Alize Puffy (European) yarns can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a blanket with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more balls/skeins to complete the pattern as is (approximately 2-4, depending on the yarn used).
