PATTERN: Twisted Chain Celtic Cable Blanket

The Twisted Chain Celtic Cable Blanket pattern is a mixed design of repeating Celtic braids and chains. This design is a long repeat of 20 rows and has a very detailed look.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.

SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 5 balls of Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ Yarn (6.4oz, 180g) (Image shown is the colour ‘Dark Gray’).

SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approximately 45” x 49” (114 cm x 124.5 cm).

PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.

Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, Red Heart Loop-It, and Alize Puffy yarns can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a blanket with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more balls/skeins to complete the pattern as is.
