The Spiralling Vines Throw Blanket pattern is an eye-catching design of leafy vines which spiral from the outside perimeter to the centre of this (almost) square blanket. While not a huge project size-wise, this pattern involves a few stitches (leaf stitches and horizontal chain stitches) which may be new to even experienced finger/loop-knitters. It also has no repeating parts - each row in this 50-row pattern is unique. If you are looking for something new and want to learn some new skills, this may be the project for you!

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate/Advanced.

SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 4 balls of Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ Yarn (6.4oz, 180g) (Image shown is using the colour 'Dijon').

SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 40” by 44” (101.5 cm by 111.5 cm).

PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different. I do not recommend mixing different brands of yarn. Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, Red Heart Loop-It, and Bernat Alize Puffy yarns can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a blanket with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more balls/skeins to complete the pattern as is (approximately 2-4, depending on the yarn used).
