The Slip and Slide Cable Scarf is a repeating pattern of extra-chunky cable braids and a ribbed design at both ends. This scarf design was inspired by my Slip and Slide Cable Blanket Pattern.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.
SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 1 ball ofBernat Alize Blanket-EZ Yarn(6.4oz, 180g) (Image shown is the colour ‘Orange Leaf’).
SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:Approximately 6” wide and 74” long (15 cm x 188 cm).
PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.
Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, and Red Heart Loop-It can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a scarf with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more balls/skeins to complete the pattern.
Alize Puffy yarn can be substituted for a scarf of the same dimensions, but you will need 2 skeins.
