The Sampler Style Baby Throw Blanket pattern includes 25 different styles/patterns in 30 squares, which gives the blanket a 'quilt' and 'sampler' style. With this pattern, you can complete a blanket similar to the blanket shown, or you may arrange patterns in whichever order you wish to customize your blanket. You may also use any of the patterns/styles included to make a complete blanket. This pattern package is very versatile! *This pattern was revised in January 2022 with an easier stitch technique.*
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.
SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 4 balls of Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ Yarn (6.4oz, 180g) (Image shown is the colour ‘Country Blue’).
SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 36” by 39” (91.5 cm by 99 cm).
PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.
Alize Puffy yarn yarn will yield a blanket of the same size, but you will need more skeins. Lion Brand Off-The-Hook and Red Heart Loop-It yarns can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a blanket with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more balls/skeins to complete the pattern as is (approximately 2-4, depending on the yarn used).
