PATTERN: Chunky Hexagon Chain Blanket

The Chunky Hexagon Chain Blanket uses chunky cables to create columns of raised hexagon chains, which chunky ribbing in between. This design would fit in perfectly with mid-century modern decor.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.

SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 8 balls of Alize Puffy yarn (3.53oz, 100g) (Image shown is the colour ‘262’).

SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:Approx. 43” by 45” (109 cm x 114 cm).

PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.

Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ can be substituted and the blanket will be the same size, but you will need fewer skeins of yarn. Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, and Red Heart Loop-It yarns can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a blanket with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more balls/skeins to complete the pattern as is.
