PATTERN: Rainbow Throw Blanket
YOU ARE BUYING A FINGER-KNITTING PATTERN, NOT THE FINISHED PRODUCT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BUYING YOUR OWN MATERIALS TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT.
This PDF pattern includes written English instructions.
The Rainbow Throw Blanket is a simple knit stitch pattern with skipped stitches each row to increase in width, and a colour-matched bound edge.
SKILL LEVEL: Easy.
SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 6 balls of Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook Yarn (3.5 oz/100g (Image shown is using the colours ‘Royal Purple’, ‘Cornflower’, ‘Fern’, ‘Laser Lemon’, ‘Red’, and ‘Magenta’.) (If you want to do Pride Flag colours, use Lion Brand Crayola Off-The Hook Yarn in 'Outrageous Orange' instead of Magenta, and switch the order of the colours - I was unable to source any orange yarn myself, as it seems to be hard to get during the pandemic.)
SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 46” x 27” (117 cm x 68.6 cm).
PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different. Mixing brands of loop yarn is not suggested, since the loop sizes of each brand are slightly different. The width of the colour stripes in this pattern are relative to the amount of yarn per skein - you can vary stripe widths however you wish to make your own pattern.
