PATTERN: Butterfly Baby Blanket

The Butterfly Baby Blanket Pattern is a repeating pattern of butterfly motifs with raised antennae, surrounded by a thick knit-stitch border.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.

SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 6 balls of Alize Puffy yarn (3.53oz, 100g) (Image shown is the colour ‘485’).

SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 41” x 43” (104 cm x 109 cm).

PLEASE NOTE:

This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.

Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ can be substituted and the blanket will be the same size, but you will need fewer skeins of yarn. Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, and Red Heart Loop-It yarns can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a blanket with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more balls/skeins to complete the pattern as is.
